Super easy to make! Great for making with kids! Choose different color of sprinkles to go with each
holiday or season!
Ingredients:
Dough:
1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
1 ½ teaspoons baking powder
¼ teaspoon salt
½ cup butter softened slightly but still cool
¾ cup granulated sugar
1 large egg
1 ½ teaspoons pure vanilla extract
¼ cup sprinkles GO IN THE DOUGH
Topping:
½ cup sprinkles to dip balls in
1) Preheat oven to 350. Line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
2) In a bowl using hand mixer or stand mixer, beat butter and sugar until light and fluffy about 2-3
minutes. Mix in egg and vanilla extract.
3) Add part of the flour (1/2 cup) and the salt and baking powder and mix.
4) Add the remaining 1 cup of flour and part of the sprinkles (1/4 cup) and mix.
5) Scoop dough by 2- 2 ½ teaspoon portions and roll into balls
6) Press the tops of the balls in the remaining sprinkles in a bowl then place on baking sheet and
flatten slightly with bottom of a glass
7) Bake for 9-11 minutes until edges are set and the centers should look slightly under cooked.
8) Let cool and enjoy!
